The leadership team of Christian Brothers School is tasked with the responsiblity of keeping the charism of both Dominican and Lasallian teachings alive in our school.
Joey Scaffidi, AFSC
Mr Scaffidi has been serving Christian Brothers School as its leader since 1998 when he was named the school's first lay principal. Mr. Scaffidi holds a Master's degree in Educational Administration along with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Math Education from the University of New Orleans. Prior to arriving at Christian Brothers School, Mr. Scaffidi was a teacher and principal at St. Louis King of France School in Metairie. During Mr. Scaffidi's tenure at CBS, the school earned initial accreditation through AdvancEd and was named a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the United States Department of Education. The Christian Brothers named Mr. Scaffidi an Affiliated Member of the order in September, 2011. Mr. Scaffidi, a graduate of Archbishop Rummel High School, is married and has two adult children.
Richard Neider, Principal

Mr. Richard Neider began his teaching career in 1992. Mr. Neider holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Holy Cross and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of New Orleans. Additionally, he is a certified mathematics teacher. Mr. Neider also graduated from the Buttimer Institute of Lasallian Studies. Mr. Neider began teaching at Christian Brothers in 2012. At Christian Brothers, Mr. Neider has taught math, history, and study skills. He has also coached basketball. Additionally, Mr. Neider has served on the school leadership team and has been an Assistant Principal. Some of Mr. Neider's prior educational experience includes the positions of Athletic Director, Dean of Students, Head Boys' Basketball Coach and Head Girls' Basketball Coach.
Michael Prat, Principal
City Park Campus
Michael Prat began his educational career at Christian Brothers School in New Orleans in 2001. He has been a teacher and administrator at CBS for twelve years. In addition, he was Director of Lasallian Programs for the legacy District of New Orleans-Santa Fe of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. As an administrative team member at Christian Brothers, Prat has overseen the development office, curriculum and academics, special student and faculty programs, and served as disciplinarian. Prat graduated from the University of South Alabama with an undergraduate degree in secondary education and the University of New Orleans with a Master's degree in Educational Administration. In addition, he graduated from the Buttimer Institute of Lasallian Studies and the Lasallian Leadership Institute, both formation programs within the national network of Lasallian schools. He is also an alumnus of Christian Brothers School. He is married and has five children.
