Library

The Library at CBS has had the same librarian for the past 18 years, Carol Maquar.

The Library is open for all students before school until 7:45 AM and during the following times during the day:

	10:25 - 10:35 AM	Morning Break
	12:05 - 12:25 PM	First Lunch
	12:25 - 12:45 PM	Second Lunch
NO STUDENTS may use the library during their recess period
	3:05 - 3:30 PM	After School

5th Grade

Students have an assigned library schedule during the day.

6th and 7th Grade

Students need to have teacher permission to use the library outside of class during the day.

DVD and VHS movies may be checked out on Fridays only and must be returned on Monday.

Library fines are as follows:

$.05 per day late for books / magazines

$.25 per day late for movies

Students are notified on the first day when books, magazines or movies are overdue.

Copies can be made in the library at a cost of $.10 per page with permission from that student's teacher (for the given subject in which the material is copied).

There are two Scholastic Book Fairs, held by Ms. Carol, during the school year -- (One in the fall and one in the spring). Parent Volunteers are always welcome for these fairs.
